OM210
The OM210 is a power meter designed for POF (plastic optical fiber) and short wavelength applications (visible and near infrared). The
OM210 optimizes a Silicon detector suitable for large core fibers. It is the ideal tool for working with shorter wavelengths whether the system is glass, plastic or multimode fibers. *
OM220
The OM220 is a general purpose power meter suitable for a both premise and outside plant applications. This
units is ideal for measurement of optical power and optical loss/attenuations in
a fiber optic network. When paired with a OS400 series source the OM100/200
series meters are ideal for single-mode (OS440 laser source) or multimode (OS430
LED source) applications.*
The meter is calibrated at the four most common industry standard wavelengths (NIST
traceable) for both single-mode and multimode transmitters. The 2 mm Germanium
detector offers a broad dynamic range of ~60dB which far exceeds the
requirements of the majority of users.
OM230
The OM230 power meter is designed for high power optical systems and CATV applications. We offer two high power
meters with two different dynamic range windows. The OM230 optimizes a high
power Germanium detector with a dynamic window of +20 dBm to -30 dBm while the
OM130/230(E) optimizes a high powered InGaAs
detector for a wider dynamic window of +23 dBm to -50 dBm.*
